On Tuesday 12th February 2002 I sadly lost my Mum to Cancer, it has been one of the hardest things that I have had to deal with especially when I should have had both parents during my teenage years.
Ever since then I have been trying to find myself and help others who are going through similar situations.
That is why in 2020 I have set up the Claire Killick Memorial which will be launched in 2021 to share her background with others and the journey myself and my family have dealt with over the years but most importantly raise awareness and money for charity.
The following charities I will be supporting for this project are as follows:
The first 2 charities are crucial in terms of cancer research and care.
Dealing with this horrible disease can really affect peoples Mental Health which is why I am supporting The Lucy Rayner Foundation.
I shall be organising a few events so please check out my diary and get involved.

There are more than 200 different types of cancer, and each is diagnosed and treated in a particular way.
The project that I am running will be crucial in supporting those who actually have cancer as they rely heavily on funding so I am proud and honoured to be supporting these great charities.
LETS FIGHT THE WAR AGAINST CANCER AND FINALLY BEAT IT.
